If you are one to keep misplacing your iPhone and are not always around another phone to play hide and seek, maybe you should start being a little more cautious.  But if this is an reoccurring habit, maybe you should look at getting a little help from Beep My Cell.  For 99 cents in the App Store you will be able to help track down your iPhone by push notifications.  Once you realized you have misplaced your iPhone, you will be able to activate constant beeping sounds from your web browser.  Just log in and click “start beeping,” and start listening.  Once you have found your iPhone, you will need to log into the app to disable the beeping.

As suspected, you must create an account with Beep My Cell before you start.  All you need to do is launch the app, click “create an account,” provide your email address, create a password, and all you’re all prepared for next time when misplace your device.

However, keep in mind that the beep volume is tied to the ringer volume.  Which means if your phone is on vibrate, you’ll probably be searhing for that beeping sound for a while.
