I have lost count of how many apps the App Store has to offer.  But I do know that the maximum amount of pages allowed (11) can fill up pretty quick once you start to get out of control with app downloading.  After a couple of years (or days), you’re going to need some more space, right?  Or maybe you just have an app addict problem.  Either way, here is a simple way to expand your page count past 11.

1. Make sure to fill up all of your 11 pages.  It’s not a problem if you have downloaded more, they just won’t be displayed until you finish these steps.
2. Move some of the default apps like “Weather, YouTube, Stocks,” etc. to the last page.
3. Now take an app from the 10^th page and move it over to the 11^th page.  This will force an empty space and also boot the last icon off the page.
4. Download another app to fill in the empty space that was created.
5. You should now see a 12^th home screen which will also have the apps that weren’t visible before.

This is a nice work-around if you prefer to keep the 4×4 layout on your pages. I would suggest taking a look at:

• Fivelrows – Allows you to add a 5th row.
• Five Springboard Column – Allows you to add a 5th column
• Categories – Acts as a filing system allowing you to create folders to categorize your apps.

However, to access these alternatives, you must Jailbreak and access these downloads through Cydia.
